March 12, 2009 (RALEIGH, NC) – Lather Hair Salon in Raleigh marked its sixth month in business by providing professional hair styling for a fashion spread for Social The Magazine, featuring spring coutoure from Catch 22 boutique.
The photo session took place at The Spectacle, a fashion eyewear in North Hills shopping center. Heather Long of Catch 22 told Lather’s Jessica Williams and Lauren Lawson that she envisioned a natural style to complement the clothing, so the stylists created soft curls for the model.
This was the first time Lather stylists worked with Social’s photographer Terrence Jones and fashion director Betzi Hekman of Love Assassins Productions.
“It was fun!” said Williams, owner and senior stylist. “Betzi, Terrence, and all the other people involved couldn’t have made it more relaxing. And I always enjoy doing hair on location. It gets us out of the salon and lets us be really creative.”
