Proceeds to benefit underinsured and uninsured North Carolinians with breast cancer 
April 8, 2010 (RALEIGH, NC) – General Assembly Chorus, the Southeast’s premier men’s chorus, has announced the song list for “Hope, Harmony & Healing,” the April 24th Spring Concert in Raleigh to benefit Pretty In Pink Foundation.
The list will serve up a slew of popular standards and favorites.
Emceed by WRAL-TV’s Debra Morgan, the matinee and evening concerts will open with a set that includes “Happy Days Are Here Again,” Wait Till The Sun Shines, Nellie,” “The Story of the Rose (Heart of My Heart),” “Follow the Flag,” and “When I Lift Up My Head.”
The second set will offer “It’s Only A Paper Moon,” “Smilin’ Through,” “Sittin’ On Top Of The World,” “When I Fall In Love,” and “L-O-V-E.”
The final set of the concert will include “A Thousand Thoughts of You” and “Who’s Sorry Now.”
Joining General Assembly Chorus for the a capella concert will be International Barbershop Quartet Champions “The Acoustix” and the 2009 Sweet Adelines’ Silver Medalists “Jackpot!”
“Hope, Harmony & Healing” will take place Saturday, April 24, in the Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts, Meymandi Concert Hall, in downtown Raleigh. The matinee performance will start at 2 p.m. The evening concert will begin at 7:30.
Proceeds raised through tickets sales and the corporate sponsorships will benefit the Pretty In Pink Foundation, a North Carolina 501(c)(3) Reserved tickets are $25; $20 general admission. Tickets for children under 12 are $15 reserved, $10 general admission. A $2 Senior Discount is available for those 55 and over.
