December 20, 2010 (CHARLOTTE, NC) – Recording artists Marc Hoffman and Terry Peoples will bring an eclectic blend of original jazz, pop, and current hits to the Ritz-Carlton Charlotte on Saturday, January 29, and Saturday, February 12, 2011, when the Marc Hoffman Duo performs in the Lobby Lounge from 9 p.m. until midnight.
The playlist for both performances will include tunes from Hoffman’s new CD “Curioso,” as well as a variety of hits by such artists as Elton John and Billy Joel.
“I’ve performed for private events at the Ritz-Carlton Charlotte many times,” Hoffman said. “I’m really looking forward to playing with Terry in the Lobby Lounge.”
A composer, pianist and vocalist, Hoffman frequently performs his original jazz and interpretations of standards and ballads for public music series in downtown Charlotte at Founders Hall and the Hearst Tower, as well as for exclusive private gatherings at the Ritz Carlton and City Club of Charlotte. Internationally renowned bassist Terry Peoples is a regular member of the Marc Hoffman Duo and Trio and provided bass accompaniment for “Curioso.”
